France July 2014

Bolloré was the Star of The Month
Vacances Edition

After five months growing, the French EV Sales declined to 1.088 units sold, but there's nothing to be afraid, as July and August are slow months due to holiday periods. In fact, if we compare sales with a year ago, the numbers are up 12%...

The top two, Zoe and Kangoo ZE, were down inline with the market, but the #3 YTD Nissan Leaf had its worst month of the year (80 units), maybe Nissan sales force were busy with the new e-NV200 (69 registrations, #6 in July), who knows?

On the other hand, Bolloré had a bang up month, registering 171 sales (#2 in July) and consolidating it's #4 YTD, while the VW e-Up! broke its sales record, selling 73 units and climbing to the Top10.

    1. Bolloré for now is only sold in France, Goupil is sold in a few EU countries, but i only got data from France, as for MIA, it was sold in some countries (Belgium, Germany, Estonia, etc), before it went bankrupt.

  2. 5 markets reaching more than 1000 sales at the same month in Europe, that's a new record :)
France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway and the UK

(and 8 markets globally getting more than1000 sales at the same month is also a record).

    1. The UK market is going strong this year, maybe it's time to consider it the "8th Big (Market)".
